Ohio may be a red state with a Republican governor and state legislature, but the Ohio Department of Education kicked off this school year by promoting far-left, racialist, anti-police propaganda in the form of its recommended “Anti-Racist Allyship Starter Pack,” a resource for social studies teachers. The starter pack contains about 200 links to “antiracist” op-eds, essays, and blog posts, which exemplify what President Trump meant when he spoke of a “left-wing cultural revolution” in our schools “designed to overthrow the American revolution” in favor of “far-left fascism.”
The ODE recommended an article on “The Souls of White Folk.” The item notes that “during the 6th century CE, before the advent of Islam, Arabs worshipped tribal totems. The Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) preached against this and other superstitious practices.” The author explains that Arabian elites used statues of stone and wood as a mechanism for controlling the people. Muhammed became “feared and hated” for “exposing the idols as false and powerless,” and in time, the idols “came to represent for the Muslim world the tribalism of a bygone era of un-enlightenment.” Islam emancipated the masses from pagan ignorance.
“America today, like Arabia then,” the author continues, “is a land of superstition and idolatry. Its chief idol is made of neither stone nor wood. It is a nearly 300 year old idea called whiteness.” The article concludes that “Whiteness is a stone idol in the mind of white people in America that must be smashed to pieces like the idols of pre-Islamic Arabia.” Unless that happens, “there is no absolution possible.”
It’s not clear whether anyone from the ODE reviewed these articles in full before recommending them. But surely someone at least took a cursory glance at them.

I cannot decide whether the people pushing this garbage are psychotic, or sadistic. Probably both.
The war against whites in America is going to make the one that’s been waging in South Africa for years against white farmers and landowners look like a playground. I talk to people at work about this. They don’t know where I’m coming from. I don’t think many of them even know what the word “genocide” means or what happened in South Africa with Nelson Mandela and the ANC. I get so tired of this historic blindfold thing that’s infected our educational system. It’s going to get us all killed.
What particularly makes me sick about this is white teachers teaching it. They are essentially admitting that they themselves have privilege they did not earn. They have an education and a job and a lifestyle that they could not have (they believe) without having disadvantaged others... but are they going to relinquish it? Give it up? No, they are going to victimize and damage the next generation. Other people’s children are going to pay for the teacher’s “crimes.” Probably, the children of people poorer than the white suburban brats who become teachers these days. But white liberals have always punched down.
But don’t all the people on the Left tell us “of course all lives matter, but”?
No. To hell with this article. For one thing, it is AD, not CE. Another thing, you can’t use the term AD, but you shower praise all over Mad Mo? Pound sand, City Journal.
“Education Department” appears to have become one of liberalism’s many oxymorons.
The rot the Left wants to indoctrinate children with is stunning. One of the resource articles states, “Which brings me to my main point: The culture of white people is the culture of death.”
Amazing how all cultures are considered good and precious except for white culture. Yet white people have made tremendous accomplishments they can and should be taught to be proud of.
The fact that this was offered at all shows just how deep the Deep State reaches. It will take a long time to eradicate. The first step should be to remove all federal and state funding from support for “education”.

Just so you know, Dewine, our illustrious governor, is as much a globalist as Kasich was. In other words, RINO, or not a republican at all. He will not get another term in office by my hand.
The whole “CE” notion drives me nuts. BC/AD was used for a long time just fine, no complaints, and suddenly they come up with CE. It’s an attempt to whitewash Christ from time. Argggg, I suppose using the word “whitewash” is now unacceptable.
Most of the racism I am seeing now is people attacking the white race.
Hate for Whitey is just as racist as hate for blacks, browns or others.
