Bloomberg claims to care so much for the environment and that is his motivation for doing this. Spent well over $1 BILLION dollars on campaign advertising. How many trees in Africa could that have planted in a forestation project there to actually constructively improve the environment? How many villages could he have outfitted with solar power from scratch to research and see if such technology could actually be viable? Just thinking out loud here...but if I had this much money and I supposedly was passionate about this stuff, that is where my billion dollars would go if I were sincere.

Bloomberg’s done a lot of for the world...He creates things the world likes so much they’re willing to pay him for use of his product. That’s done more for the world than building marginal solar systems for third world villages any day of the week.
