Justice Clarence Thomas is a national treasure. His writing and scholarship is awesome.

Agreed. But he's also 72. Hopefully if Trump wins re-election, Justice Thomas will give Trump the ability to nominate his replacement in his second term. If Biden wins, hopefully Justice Thomas will remain on the bench for many years to come.
