Trump hates Biden's stretch-run strategy. Biden loves Trump's.

Joe Biden is relying on Americans being sick of Donald Trump, a state of affairs which would make a butcher's block of red-meat rallies counterproductive for the president.

WASHINGTON - - Democrats have a counterintuitive plan for the final week of the presidential campaign: more Donald Trump, less Joe Biden.

As the president ramps up his barnstorming tour between now and next Tuesday's election, Biden's markedly lighter schedule looks like that of an incumbent congressman who has no opponent. The Democratic nominee took Monday off entirely, while Trump held rallies across Pennsylvania - in Allentown, Lancaster and Martinsburg.

If Trump wins, Biden will surely face recriminations from within his party for sitting on a lead. But Republicans seem more eager than Democrats to get Biden out on the trail, an indication that his four-corners strategy is perceived by both parties as a smart tack.

"He's waved a white flag on life," Trump said Monday in response to Biden charging that the president has surrendered the fight against the coronavirus. "This guy doesn't leave his basement."

Trump wants Biden to appear more often. Meanwhile, many Democrats are thrilled that Trump is holding more of his signature campaign rallies. They routinely highlight his most pugnacious tendencies. They also remind voters who don't attend them that Trump's focus on personal squabbles is virtually unlimited, while his focus on the coronavirus pandemic is sharply limited.

People don’t like being taken for granted. They expect someone wanting their vote to come and visit their state and interact with the poeple.

Bingo. Biden not campaigning is akin to saying it’s not worth his time asking people for his vote. It’s arrogant and dismissive.

The convoluted thinking (and I use that term loosely) on the left is just amazing

Yeah, hiding in the basement is a great strategy.

Biden never had a lead. Let’s be honest. He’s been an awful candidate from day one. The Left is depending upon legacy media and Big Tech to carry his supine form across the finish line.

What a moron. And a dishonest one.

Search “Jonathan Allen” and “Turn out the base”, gee, you get this one in which Allen brags about Sanders’ “turn out the base” campaign during the primaries:

If ads won elections, Bloomberg would be the Rat nominee

Yup.
Bloomberg spent over a billion dollars on ads in just a few weeks and still lost.

This is brilliant! Thank you NBC news for making life so much easier. Based on their counter-intuitive idea that if you are running for political office ... well, you don’t run! I would have never thought of it! I will call it the Bye-Done Method. I will apply the BDM to difficult areas in my life, such as:

1. If I have a critical project due at work, I’ll take a vacation right then, (Bye), so the project will be complete (Done) and waiting on my desk when I return.

2. If I need to go grocery shopping, well I’ll use the Bye-Done Method. Instead, I’ll take a nap. Then when I wake up, my refrigerator will be full of fresh groceries.

3. If I need to pay bills, well the BDM comes in handy here, too. I’ll watch TV all evening and when I get up for a commercial break, voila, all my bills will be paid!

I wish I had been aware of the Bye-Done Method years ago. It would have saved me a lot of trouble and worry over the years.

"Counterintuitive" plan, my donkey...What else can the Rats do but keep Joe in his basement as much as possible. When you are stuck with a candidate who routinely can't correctly recall facts, figures and names, there is no choice but to limit his live appearances.

People are so sick of seeing him that they stand out in the cold for hours by the thousands to see him and hear him speak. Imagine how many would be there if they weren’t sick of him.

"Actually I read recently that the winner of the 1900 election (McKinley) had Biden’s strategy. The winner stayed in his basement and won. But he also had VP Teddy Roosevelt out campaigning."

I just watched a video on this campaign. McKinley was an incumbent who won his first race handily and had confidence he was popular. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkepYLa8xfo&ab_channel=Mr.Beat

He had an energetic (42 years old) and popular VP who was barnstorming for him. Why leave the front porch?

Completely not comparable to Biden who's challenging a popular incumbent who's been successful. Biden's relying on character assassination from the media.

The media doesn't realize how little they're relevant.

Did ya notice that too? Some freepers sit waiting for NBC, AP et al, to post anti-Trump articles so they can quickly post them here.

Apparently they think we have no clue about what these leftist are all about and think we need more of this lying bull s**t shoved down our throats. So bad some of them label these articles as, "Barf alerts". As if we want to read articles that make ya barf. I find this a bit odd.

Yep, exactly what i was thinking. They wish this was the case, but the real issue is Biden’s dementia is getting worse by the minute. The less he opens his mouth the better for him.

No one has won the Presidency in the modern era by not campaigning. Think Dewey vs Truman.
