Their side has the will but not the means, our side has the means but not the will. So stalemate, except their side also has demographics to their advantage.
You are right except it is worse than that. What I see is a healthy cohort, supposed to be on our side, bitterly opposed to any effective counter action. Saying
"Don't stoop to their level."
"Why do you have to be so unpleasant?"
"I'm not saying surrender, but you could be nicer about it."
"It makes me uncomfortable when you get like this."
"I don't want to be around you when you get like this."
"That is not Christlike."
