Does this ever end? We have had constant rain for weeks now can't remember a sun shiny day.congrats on managing a truly mammoth hurricane season.Few can do what you have done.
We are just lucky that the Keys won't get much from this one at all.
I guess you see what I mean about the data buoys now. Fla. Bay is loaded with them.No one goes anywhere near the majority of them. Meanwhile, the important buoys either don't exist or have been broken for months in some cases over a year.
After the election when Trump wins I'm gonna suggest we privatize the buoy system a little bit at a time starting in South Fla.NOAA has proved it's incompetence one more time.

While we've had loads of rain this season, we are very fortunate that we have been spared the full impact of 2020 Gulf storms.
In addition to Lake Charles radar still out of service since late August, the few buoys that were working early this season have been knocked out by storm after storm. I'm still a fan of universities adopting buoy maintenance. Students will enjoy the adventure and improving performance with the latest tech.
