There’s No Chance Kanye West Wins The Election, But These People Say They’re Voting For Him Anyway
Buzzfeed News ^ | October 22, 2020 | Krystie Lee Yandoli

There is no plausible reality in which Kanye West becomes the next president. And yet people disenfranchised with the electoral system say they’re voting for him anyway.

“Do I think he's going to win? No. Do I think we need change? Yes. Am I voting for change? Am I voting for my interests? Yes,” 33-year-old Quentin Jones told BuzzFeed News.

After officially announcing his candidacy in mid-July and reportedly spending nearly $12 million on his own campaign, West is only on the ballot in 11 states, making it mathematically impossible for him to earn enough votes to become the next president of the United States.

I still say this will siphon a significant number of votes from minority Democrats who are disillusioned with an old, white, racist man being the nominee.

It’s not likely to draw away any Trump supporters.

We all know what’s at stake.

Kanye West has answered far more hard-hitting questions from ABCNNBCBS about his campaign than Grampa Gropes has even been asked about his.

Let’s hope not, but I’m still pissed he’s running against Trump. He could have been a big help to our President but his ego wouldn’t allow it. He grosses me out....

I think he could have been a huge help to Trump by endorsing him.

Ha! This article has really stirred up a hornets nest of leftist loons at the website. Maybe they’ll close the comments section. Or delete the entire article. Either way, it’s a good sign for Trump.

Of course he could and brought along many black voters. Kanye is a megalomanic and far more interested in promoting himself. He’s a different kind of swamp dweller.

He did a TON more than the other 99.99 percent of actors/singers so why don’t we give him some credit instead of crying about it?

And he’s doing us a big favor by siphoning votes from biden.

People here still think Trump isn’t in on any of the situations.

You don’t think there’s a chance Kanye and Trump, through other folks, decided this was the best way??

Do you guys know that lawyer who Directly deal with Trump have helped kanye get on ballots?

There are NO Rs voting for him!

And hopefully it will affect the down ballot vote which helps us also.

He tried to get on as many state lists as possible but it seems red states are easier to get on

but he’s on 3 states that can help us

and like i said, down ballot will always help.

If you think Trump had some say in this, you’re wrong.

“What states is he on the ballot? Any purple.”

That’s my question too. Which 11 states?

Still better than voting for a paper mache’ puppet like Biden.

I don’t disagree with you in general, but how does Kanye being on the presidential ballot help down ballot races? Those Dems disaffected with Biden are still likely to vote for every other Democrat candidate in other races.
