A Fleet without a Rudder (The U.S. Navy's optimized fleet response plan is failing. It is redeploying ships on short notice for no apparent strategic purpose.)

I spent ten years on sea duty; one CVN, two CG’s and a DDG.

I have been thinking about this LT(JG) for a while and wondered about his background.

He attended The Naval Academy, 2014-2018, graduated with a B.S. in Political Science, he was given an award for “Leadership in Fostering Humane Studies” and designated as a Surface Warfare Officer. (self study from a CD is the way it is learned now, I’ve read.)

2018-2019 He attended Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, studied National Security Policy. Received a Masters Degree.

His selfie: “I am a Naval Officer, innovator, writer and national security leader.

I am passionate about taking the Department of Defense into the future with the emerging technologies, A reinvented culture and better talent management.”

January 2019- present. His first ship The USS Peralta (DDG 115).

Searched for his surname, “Sherbinin” Result shows only 212 persons with that surname Mainly in Russia.

Languages spoken: Russian and English

Is he a deep plant like the Ukraine Lt Col that assisted in the attempted removal of POTUS? Or like the Muslem Army Maj that killed many Army men in a base here in the U.S.?

He seems to have more articles published in the same publication. He seems to be writing a lot of personal opinions and book knowledge, but little of real world experience.

And for Genuine Navy Chief, What was your rating? Chief what? Knowing that would help others understand your perspective of what is going on. YNC?, BMC? ABC?

Thanks.

How do you know that this is a popular point of discussion within the Fleet?

“The Fleet” includes many men and ships. What is your method of knowing what they all think and discuss?

I guess there is no concern that this Russian LT(JG) could be a danger to the USN.

How about the known communist Cadet at west Point that was allowed to graduate and was actually assigned to active duty.

Or the large group of black female cadets at West Point, pictured in uniform, with their fists raised in the black power salute.

How are these people, who hate America, allowed into our service academies? Are we this hell bent on self destruction?
