We are probably looking at a 5% increase over Hillary numbers, 10% absolute tops.
That will get it done in a lot of states, but not CA.
A 10% increase in voters for Trump equals a 20% change because you have to subtract 10 from one to add to the other.
So if a state went 40% Trump & 60% for The PIAPS then Trump + 10% to Trump equals a very close 50/50. If Trump gets 10% of the votes that went to The PIAPS, and democratic turnout is down 5% that turns a 35/65 blowout into a respectable 45/50.
