We regularly have birds slam into our office windows and kill themselves.

Of course the windows are mirrored. We’re assuming the birds see another bird in their territory and mount an unfortunate challenge.

Interesting observation. My parents had their windows replaced 20 years ago and still no difference. It just wasn't a problem...
