Wrong guy. This is not the shop keeper with the lap top. This is the ex partner of Hunter who has cell phones and email linking deals with “the chairman”
This is an unfortunate turn of events. Supposedly, the laptop is being held as part of an extended FBI investigation into money laundering, so probably there is some logic in calling Bobulinski in for an interview.
But in reality, this never ends well for the interviewee (if he seems to represent something the FBI doesn’t like, such as Trump, Republicans, opponents of Hilary Clinton, etc.). And it also permits the FBI to simply sit on the information forever.
Fortunately, I think Bobulinski has already made a lot of it public, and copied his cellphones before handing them over to the FBI.
