Trump to Vote in Florida on Saturday

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump is following his own advice and plans to vote for the presidential election in person in Florida on Saturday.

Trump was traveling on Friday to his home state to head campaign rallies in The Villages and in Pensacola. He is scheduled to spend the night at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach and said he will vote on Saturday before flying north to more campaign events.

Trump revealed his plans Thursday night following the presidential debate with Democrat Joe Biden.

At the beginning of the year, when making unfounded statements about fraud related to mail-in ballots and other absentee-voter procedures, Trump said that people should be required to go to the polls in person to vote.

Trump, however, has previously voted by absentee ballot.

This article clearly dismisses any concerns over voter fraud, but that's AP for you.

I’ll go to my polling place on Nov 3rd. I didn’t see anyone named Boris in 2016.

I just voted, in person, at the Courthouse. Zero wait at my location. I have not voted absentee in years and only because I was scheduled to be out of the county on Election Day. I may have tipped my hand a little to the low life Democrats in this county, but they know that I am a Republican and that I always vote. Their problem will be getting out their Karens who are locked away in their basement bunkers.

This morning I went to the City Hall in my white privileged suburb just west of Minneapolistan and voted.

Very easy, very fast.

Good.

He had my head spinning with the mixed-messaging about voting by mail.

He kept showing outrageous fraud but at the same time the RNC kept flooding my mailbox with pleas to send in a ballot.

Like him I will (ugh!) put on a mask and go wait in line at the polling place on Nov. 4.

You don’t have in person early voting? Some of those lines have
been long but I’d bet not as long as on election day. Good luck

Just asking. Do you put the ballot in a box or does it go through a machine?

No. I am in Pennsylvania, where we do NOT have in-person early voting.

You show up on Election Day or you vote absentee (which the State Legislature modified last year to where you no longer need to give a reason like being ill or out of state).

I was also suspicious because my polling place got moved, but that is apparently due to construction at the church where it was long located.

Do you put the ballot in a box or does it go through a machine?

Both, the ballot is a mark sense form, you fill in the chosen bubble. You insert your ballot into a scanner and you get a green light when it is read and counted. The paper ballot goes into a box. If the machine count and the paper ballot does not match, they can hand count the paper ballots.

Kansas used to have the touch screen machines, but they are subject to error, either a mechanical fault or malfeasance. I don't know where they went (probably to Chicago), but Kansas changed to the paper ballot with machine reading. Very secure IMO.
