Everyone on the east side of NM from Clovis down to Hobbs goes to Lubbock for medical care, mostly to Covenant Hospital. Covenant just bought our local hospital and will build a new one across the highway. Unless it’s an emergency all of us travel 18 miles to the hospital in the small community of Lovington because ours is so bad.
We had friends and family, in NM, who would travel to El Paso for medical care.
Not sure how great EP medical care is, but....maybe it’s an improvement over NM.
