The barriers to entry today lie in the distribution system. A handful of giant companies dominate the distribution channels. But with the growth of streaming and VOD, there is unlimited capacity in the distribution pipeline. Filmmakers don't have to compete for limited theatrical screens. So just shut up, go make your own movies, and see if you can hustle up an audience.
Indeed. I have a personal interest in lesser known, compelling elements of Black History, which I hope will received serious film treatment someday. As I think they would engage universal interest if explored. And would inspire dialogue beyond the limited narratives we have today (slavery, racism, etc...)
If you just watch TV commercials, you’d think that half the intact families in this country are black and the other half are from mixed race marriages, with a little same-sex couples sprinkled in.
Im sure only 2% of them are Jewish, wouldnt want to be seen as bigoted
They will now will be executives of unwatched programming. For a while.
Just tell the story
“Jake from State Farm is now black. What more do they want?”
If you have looked at most TV commercials lately, even though the majority of the market the advertisers are selling into are white, the majority of folks in their ads are black. Rarely see Asians, latino, transgender, eunochs or whatever other identity group flavor of the month the social justice warriors and virtue signaling Dems are promoting
What about TV ads? I think I saw two white men in about 20 ads last night.
Whites are still the largest portion of the population so do minorities have to be a disproportionate portion in order for libtards to be satisfied?
Crap proves their diversity.
If they could be recognized as gay they fit the bill for diversity.
In a word, yes. In fact, that's pretty much what we have been doing.
Liberals always have a hidden agenda. The hidden agenda behind all this “affirmative action” and “diversity” nonsense is to destroy the belief that what matters in life is competence and hard work. They are creations of “white privilege”.
they don't mind shafting hard working people out of the way so their minority undeserving counterparts can take their jobs....
just wait til we have a draft....all of a sudden we'll have to keep exactly to the minority numbers....blacks will get extra points to stay out of the draft...
Diversity and multiculturalism are cancers.
And the level of talent is going south. Anyone with an education can make a business decision. Actors have to draw upon themselves and most are so shallow they say their own name during fulfillment.

I remember about 60 years ago, when the only blacks on TV were Amos and Andy and Jack Benny’s Rochester. As a kid I was watching TV and on came a commercial advertising some product.
I immediately recognized the woman in the advertisement as “Sapphire” from Amos and Andy. But she was light skinned. Passing for white?
Diversity is where nations go to die.
And now, in more important news:
* An analysis by me at my house found that talented people hold only 0.0% of studio chair and CEO jobs.
* Across broadcast, cable and digital, only 0.0% of credited writers are talented.
* Representation of talented people in acting roles has remained in the toilet since last years report, as enthusiasm for sodomy and leftardation remain more important in hiring than talent.
* And just to wrap it up with a blatant lie, we assert that ratings and social media engagement data show that audiences respond to diversity.
Courage, mes amis.
“I remember about 60 years ago, when the only blacks on TV were Amos and Andy...”
Although cut off the air for lack of political correctness, I loved Amos and Andy as a kid. I was able to order a few of their videos from Netflix a year ago. I think they should change the name of the Republican Party to Knights of the Mystic Sea Lodge.lol
