Ping.
I lived in Austin from 92-2000. Such a fun city. Young with restaurants out the wazoo but the liberalism is getting to be too much. Even for the socialist Austinites.
In 92 the city bought a dozen house boats and lined them up along Town Lake (which runs thru downtown Austin). These were for the homeless to come and go as they pleased. Drugs, rapes, robberies all went up 300% overnight in that area. You could not go near this place at anytime and it was near the convention center, a park, the running path etc. The boats lasted 2 weeks.
That’s the kind of BS they keep doing. Experimenting with irresponsible and failed ideas.
If Austin elects a RED (R) then the world will quake. If that does happen it will be the biggest shot across the Left’s bow ever.
Texas will prove to be a solid Republican, from Loving County to Harris County. There are no more Democrat counties in the Lone Star State.
Today’s software entrepreneur is tomorrow’s kulak.
Better smart late than never.
Everywhere little indicators of a Trump tidal wave:
MI has moved 3 points, from James down 1 to up 2 in 2 weeks;
Trump up now in MI;
Rs just blowing it out in early voting, where Ds typically dominate in FL
Hearing NV is seeing BIG R turnout; that even in Clark there is surprising R turnout
Same in NM
Only AZ seems to be lagging in the early R turnout.
It would be wonderful if this is happening, But at the very least it’s amusing that Democrats fix polling to try and hurt Republican morale and fail to realize their snowflake constituency is far more susceptible to the same thing. We’re not (well, most of us) prone to running around shouting “We’re doomed!”. Most just go out and buy more ammo.
That would be the shock of the year if Austin went red.
These articles are so stupid Boston proper I think went 80% for Hillary Im pretty familiar with the town its very liberal it will not go run but the suburbs likely will its like Nashville except more liberal even
I believe Mackenzie Kelly is going to win the District 6 seat and Jennifer Virden the District 10 seat. People here are FED UP with the current Mayor/Council, bigtime.
It would be a start. But the garbage runs deep in Austin.
I just saw this interesting and related comment on twitter:

@TXVet4Trump
“I drive through an Austin suburb a few days a week. For a long time, smattering of biden and/or science signs, then American flags started popping out. On Monday the first Trump sign appeared. Apparently that opened the floodgates bc now theres a ton of Trump flags and signs!”
If Austin goes red, look up! The end of the world draws near.

If love to see Austin go red...If that happened, you’d see a landslide...
