The experts said we’d have 2 million dead.
Trump has us down to around a 10th of that.
The media calls it a failure.

And it would have been much lower if the states of New York, New Jersey, Michigan and California didn’t send the elderly sick from COVID-19 into nursing homes.

the challenges that world leaders are experiencing in grappling with this menacing virus. Sad that even relatively conservative outlets give this sham credence with statements like this. COVID is nothing more than the flu, in its contagiousness and its lethality. That so many people are allowing it to be used to control them, to force them to live miserable lives of fear and isolation, to destroy lives and livelihoods, is really pathetic.

The sickness and death rates in the US would be much lower if everyone followed Dr. Fauci's example of taking 6,000 IU of Vitamin D per day. Dr. Fauci is in a position to know that Vitamin D is effective against respiratory infections in general, and the Chinese Virus in particular. Of course, the 6,000 IU would have to be scaled up for larger people (probably 10,000 for PDJT).
Some questions I would like to see posed at the "debate":
What is Dr. Fauci's blood level of Vitamin D?
What is Preident Trump's blood level of Vitamin D?
Is the CDC going to try to duplicate the study that showed the following for patients treated with HCQ vs HCQ+vitamin D:
|
HCQ |
HCQ+D |
Sent to ICU |
50% |
2% |
Died |
4% |
0% |
This was a small study, and it should have been replicated by now, but there is no money in Vitamin D. The cost of the calcifediol is about $1,000 to $2,000 per study subject at retail prices. Ordinary vitamin D would only cost about $10, but would not act quickly enough for Covid-19 patients.
Effect of calcifediol treatment and best available therapy versus best available therapy on intensive care unit admission and mortality among patients hospitalized for COVID-19: A pilot randomized clinical study
