In one of the most jawdropping clips, the instructor tells poll workers to lie to voters and destroy their ballots.
“Your job is to convince him he’s already voted,” the instructor said as she told poll workers to deceive voters to get them to be complacent.
“The last resort is to call your chairperson and they will do an envelope because that quiets him down, that gets him out, and it doesn’t what? It doesn’t count. He doesn’t know that, does he? Does he? No, he doesn’t know that, but when we get it, we’re not going to count it. We already got his ballot,” the instructor said in one of the clips.
With countless examples of absentee ballots being sent to homes by mistake across the country, Michigan poll workers are being trained that they should deceive voters who show up at polling locations reporting abnormalities.

In listening to the trainer, it seems that if a person claims that he has not voted, but the records show he has already mailed in a ballot, then it seems the appropriate action is to compare the signature on the mail-in ballot to his signature on the provisional ballot.
We should consult our local elections offices to see what their protocol is in such a situation. Is this Detroit example standard practice throughout the USA?
It sounds like they have already done fake absentee ballots, so if the person comes in to really vote give them a false ballot so they won’t make a fuss.

What would Washington, Jackson, Grant/Lee, Lincoln, Teddy R, FDR, Eisenhauer, JFK, or Reagan do? Trump may belong in that category some day but our nation is being overtaken by those who hate it.

In 2010 a poll worker in Eagan MN tried the same nonsense with me. I was told that I had already voted. This is nothing new.

The poll workers are not equipped to deal with reports of fraudulent absentee ballots. She's also correct that if things get heated she's going to call 911. This issue should not hold up the procedure for the other voters in the precinct.
The comments about "tearing up the provisional" are premature. If the voter reports fraud, then the provisional will be held while the accusation is investigated. HOWEVER, the one ballot will not be counted if it does not affect the outcome of the race unless there is a recount.
You wouldn’t need a lot of lamp posts, just a few to set an example of consequences.

Sorry, I haven’t watched this video but this doesn’t sound anything like fraud...
What the instructor sounds like he is talking about is when someone voted early or mail in voted and then shows up on Election Day and wants to vote.
When they show up and want to vote, you inform them they already have... because the book says they already have. If they are adamant they haven’t you give them a provisional ballot.. they complete it and it goes to the county where they can straighten out the issue.. if the voter hadn’t voted upon investigation the provisional ballot will get counted... if they find he had already voted the provisional ballot is not counted.
This is SOP procedure for anyone that comes in demanding to vote, but you cannot prove they should or disprove they haven’t already. This isn’t fraud.
How is it possible that there are no Republicans in this group who would blow the whistle? I thought poll worker SOP was to have equal representation.?.?
