All through the covid thing, certain things have been in short supply temporarily, then they get them in again. Then other things run out.

The worst thing now is to write articles about shortages returning - that will just cause panic buying again. So I’m glad you posted this late at night. Hopefully few people will see it.

I hesitated posting the article because I didn’t want to stir up panic buying. But there’s no stopping it being reported and exaggerated by the media.

Eventually, supply will catch up with demand, as it always does. I suspect, though, the news not long before the holidays will be exploited. There will be panic buying. It’s inevitable now.

I’m pretty well stocked with frozen and canned food. I reckon I could survive a year with what I have on hand, if I had to.

The way to cause shortages is to incessantly talk or write about then. They become self fulfilling prophesies.
