My current assumption is they took it in order to bury it (like Weiner’s laptop), and didn’t know that the shop owner would make copies and send to Rudy (and possibly others).

The FBI definitely DID BURY IT. They have no choice now but to “dig it up” (but taking their sweet time, of course). Giving the child sexual abuse information to the Delaware State Police (DSP) hopefully will speed things up unless the DSP are as corrupt as the FBI.

I’m beginning to believe the theory another FReeper put forth; the FBI holds on to these incriminating pieces of evidence (like Hillary, Weiner, etc) for the purpose of blackmailing the person (when in position of power) into doing the deep state bidding.
