Masks actually HELP the economy by slowing spread of the virus. Less virus = more things can open safely = better economy.

The article says that there was a backlog of data due to a weekend outage. So those 33 deaths reported as one day, actually represent about three days or more.

The part of Wisconsin I live in is considered to be the biggest covid hot spot in the US. Thing is, since August when the mask order was implemented, people have been wearing masks religiously. Is is very rare for me to see anyone NOT wearing one in public. Even outside on the recreational trails for example a lot of people wear masks. And yes, social distancing IS being practiced. Yet the covid cases are increasing. Really don't know why, but I'm pretty sure masks are ineffective. Of course the lefties are blaming it on people not following the rules, but that isn't the case.

Let us start with masks do not equal less virus. Less virus is an impossibility, one we used to understand.

Slowing the virus, or flattening the curve, does nothing for safety, it merely prolongs the virus. The deaths under the curve remain fixed.

I see no reason to allow a virus to remain among mankind any longer than it needs to. Masks allow the virus to remain, as mask use prolongs duration.

As far as shutdowns, I will assume you understand why that hurts the economy.
