Wow, I remember back around '70-'72, I was ROTFL/LMAO listening to an interview with her on a Boulder-Denver FM station, where she spouted off about Vietnam, US "hegemony," nukes, etc, where it was clear she was completely uninformed on the topics.

50 years later, she is *still* completely clueless.

You'd hope that 50 more years of life would be kind to her mind if not to her looks. But no.

Bottom line: Her music has not stood the test of time. Who listens to her old records now? No one. Who listens to The Eagles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, The Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones, etc.? Everyone. Their music is broadcast on Classic Rock stations 24/7.

Linda Ronstadt had a really good voice, but she was essentially a cover singer who sold a sexy image that she can't sell anymore because her sex appeal is long gone.
