I was wondering the same thing.
That’s just pure evil. I guess some local egg-packer or chicken plucker thinks the farmer is a big capitalist. Wouldn’t surprise me if it were one of his disgruntled field hands, or even a relative.
It would have to be a hefty Go Fund account. Just the combine replacement could run half a million

Up till a couple of weeks ago, before the Chinese started direct buying of beans again, they were $8. Other countries were buying our beans and drop shipping them to China.
The rural people I know fully expect to deal with the leftists. I wouldn’t bet against them.
China is buying record amounts of soybeans, corn, and now wheat, from the U.S. Even though this year's corn crop was a bumper crop, corn prices have been rising for the last 2 months as China increases its purchases of U.S. corn even with the Tariffs.
Now wheat is starting to take off. Many farmers are probably going to start storing their extra product in anticipation of even higher prices over the next 6-12 months.

Definitely. Farm equipment is crazy expensive.

Michigan farmers are NOT team blue, but probably depends on the area of the state. The Thumb farmers are extremely Red.
We are not quite rural; small town in farm country. We are PLANNING on “them” bringing trouble.
