Retired Adm. William McRaven wrote an op-ed article Monday in The Wall Street Journal saying he held certain conservative viewpoints but also believed in ideas like "Black lives matter."
He wrote that he voted for the Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, because "we need a president for all Americans, not just half of America."
McRaven has been an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump, who he has accused of harming American values and tearing down US institutions.

Now.” What does “lack of respect and our transactional approach to global issues” mean? “Our republic is under attack from the president.” He means the Deep State. “Criticisms of the media as ‘the greatest threat to democracy.’” The media began attacking Trump even before he was nominated. They were satisfied with any lie as long as it was anti-Trump.
We have a lot of higher ranking officers who are part of the military industrial complex. Wars are a path to promotion and to a lucrative job working for a defense contractor once they retire from the military.
Trump has disrupted the gravy train by becoming the first president since Reagan to not get involved in foreign wars. They hate him for it.

I don’t know why anybody would want continuous warfare. Our soldiers are not meant to be put through a continual meat grinder for the benefit of defense contractors. They deserve better.

I wonder sometimes; how can someone serve in the military so long; yet hate America? And why do they hate it? Is it that they have some weird phobia such as eleutherophobia? Are they just plain stupid?
So this Admiral who oversaw the Bin Laden raid believes in Bidens values ? Wasn’t Biden the only one who opposed the raid ?
An admiral; swamp dweller for sure. Rank and file enlisted and officers in all services are mostly conservatives. Problem is though I don’t believe very many of them vote.

went to check his Karen Tumulty/WaPo connections and found his love letter about Brennan in WaPo and wondered if Tumulty had actually written it. this doesn’t say she did, but I imagine she at least edited it. same BI writer:
