President Donald Trump said on a Monday campaign staff call that he plans on doing 5 rallies a day leading up to the election.
We are going to win, the president said, according to New York Post reporter Ebony Bowden. I wouldnt have told you that maybe two or three weeks ago.
Were going to win. Youre going to work your assess off, Trump added. The only way we can lose this election is if they cheat.
The president also told his campaign team to ignore negative news.
Trump was forced to take time off from in-person appearances on the campaign trail at the beginning of October when he was diagnosed with coronavirus and hospitalized. A debate originally planned for October 15 was canceled after the Commission on Presidential Debates announced that the event would be held virtually. Trump said that he would not participate in a virtual event.
Trumps decision to hold 5 rallies per day comes after Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Bidens campaign decided that the former Vice President would not make any public appearances until after the debate Thursday night. So far in October, Biden has taken six total days off from the campaign trail.
The Biden campaign said that the 3 days off in October were so that the former Vice President could prepare for the debate.
Meanwhile, Eric Trump announced the Trump teams schedule for Monday and Tuesday, which appeared much busier than Bidens.
Biden called an early lid a total of 11 days during the month of September, a move that drew criticism from several people, including President Trump. Trump said September 24 on Twitter that Biden is a low energy individual who would make a low energy president.
“Hopefully, this is not a sign of panic in Trump campaign.”
I’m not seeing panic. I’m seeing a guy who battles to the end. We all can take solace in the fact that our guy will win or lose a fighter.
5 rallies a day? Where does President Trump find the energy? Or the voice?
Hardly panic. This man loves to campaign and be out among the American people. The president is campaigning hard because he wants to earn the votes of the American people while Biden has taken himself off the campaign trail because the arrogant politician thinks he has it in the bag. Even Walter Mondale on his way to a 49 state loss in 1984 worked much harder than the Delaware Dunce!

It is the sign of someone who fights to win. You are probably unaware of the dynamic since most of us have never seen a Republican fight before.
I wish he would do some preparation instead.
He needs to have some numbers to back up the arguments.
_This_ is how you get re-elected President of the United States.
You _earn_ it!
Damn, he’s doing that again? I’m 35 with various problems and I wish I had that kind of energy.
Amazingly, there are Freepers who believe there is no possible way Trump loses.
He is working most of us under the table.

Careful with your stereotyping.
I became a Reagan believer while in grad school and know exactly how a patriot fights.
So speak for yourself when engaging in sliming lifelong patriots like myself.
Lighten up, Francis.
Perhaps you can name some current Republicans who fight.
Nice Alinskyesque try to avoid responsibility for your personal sliming of me.
Certainly not to PDJT’s level, that is for sure.
It’s a sign of confidence. Have you ever watched an entire Trump rally? They are incredible. People lined up for miles to get in, staying even though they know they won’t get in.
It’s an absolute phenomenon unlikely to be repeated in several lifetimes.
Biden is also a phenomenon. His rallies have all the flavor of some distant third party with four adherents trying to drum up their friends to come along.
I went to a rally for Biden last weekend just for the laughs. it was so sad I almost felt badly for them.
The stage announcer actually said “We would have had more people but he had to go to a funeral.”
For real man, that was a direct quote.
A US Congressman was supposed to speak. he didn’t even bother to show up or call
I do some public speaking and a lot of training for my job. I get energized by speaking with people and routinely do multiple events a day. (When this stupid covidiocy is not interfering)
10-14 hour days aren’t unusual but it’s a lot of fun. That’s what DJT is doing on a far higher and more important scale. I’m envious and wish I could engage a crowd half as well.
When I give a stage presentation I tend to not overly practice my talk. I had one ab out a year ago that began as a train wreck. The venue changed to an in the round stage instead of at the end of the room. Since my props were all designed for one sided viewing, I struggled a bit but then I got my groove, popped off a couple quick one liners and had the audience hooked. Then it got fun.
Yes, of course.
What an incredibly stupid question.
