Aside from the pagoda falling into the street it looked like a typical Asian street scene.

It is negative exponential numbers, meaning decimals - less than one, more than zero. ex .2

What was pulling that cart? Looked too small to have been an ox... past tense, boohoo. Not making light of the poor guy’s situation, either. People first, and I’m pretty sure he at least had some bruises. I truly hope he escaped absolutely scott free. But I’m also an animal lover and hate to see them suffer.

When a brick wall falls over, those bricks at the top have a significant horizontal vector; they fall not just down, but out, too, fast and hard.

I learned that pulling a chimney down in my youth. We pulled it toward ourselves. We were further away than the chimney was tall by like 20 feet, but those bricks hit the ground then flew at us fast, and a few nailed us.

Yep, conservation of energy is a b****. All that energy that was directed downward was instantly converted and added to an already skull-caving horizontal energy. Would NOT have wanted to have been where he was, that’s for sure. I also noticed some of the people across the street were bowled over and even nearly blasted out of the camera frame by the horizontal energy.
