Back in April, when Pelosi, Obama, et al came out for Biden and effectively ended the primary, they were in effet conceding the election.

I agree, except they were not saving the party....they were saving the party LEADERSHIP from a full takeover by the Bernie Bros.
The party leadership needs to remain in place for the graft to continue for elected officials.
By going left and embracing much of the marxist agenda, a Biden loss can be pinned on the marxists, not the "centrists".
