I'm going to be driving a rental truck from Los Angeles to Tennessee in early December. Hoping the I-10, I-30, and I-40 will be clear but I'm going to be packing just in case.
Up here in Ithaca we won't know the difference. We already have an overwhelming majority of socialists; hell, we've had them for decades. 30 years ago we even had a mayor Ben Nichols who was a member of DSA (socialist party).
These other places are just starting to catch up. :-)

Not after Joe and the CCP take control of those pensions. Between investing in prog scams like GND and the skim, those funds will be bankrupt and the laws on pension management won’t be enforced, because Dems. No one with a public employee pension, Federal or State, will have anything after the progs take over.
I’m not aware of anyone losing their pensions in NY or NJ - and both states are in dire straits financially (though NY is better secured with pensions), and I don’t see anyone losing them in the future, We’ll pay 500% sales tax before anyone loses their gubmint pensions...

On top of all their other taxes/fines/fees, where does that $$ come from? The entire economy will collapse at those rates and we will be trading with each other out of scavenged trash bags in fields of rubble.
LEO have skills to barter. They will end up as private security to the very people who robbed them. Protection you can count on? If not private security, than privateers, is my guess.
Biden wins and we go from dystopia to apocalypse. It should take about 2 months in the Blue Enclaves and there will be checkpoints by the rural communities to keep the refugees out.
Something like Calais, only between NYC and the extreme Western portion of NYS. Not everyone has stocked farms 200 miles from the cities and even those who do know they cannot control the perimeters. I know. I had that sort of property and there is no way anyone can defend even 40 acres, let alone 80. I opted for a little house in the woods with conservative neighbors and even that is going to rely on blocking streets and roads. I give us even odds, if we all stick together.
But, it won’t happen because not enough Americans are that stupid. Trump will win and everyone needs to then act to make sure this sort of communist revolution never even gets off the ground again.
They will raise the tax revenues from the new middle class and millionaires they import from Asia; right now they are moving into the properties of the Americans they are replacing. NY and NJ are dying economically, and Asians are still pouring in as Americans flee.
