Twitter on Sunday removed a tweet from one of President Donald Trump's top Covid-19 advisers falsely claiming masks don't work to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The tweet no longer appeared on the site as of Sunday morning, replaced with a note saying "This Tweet is no longer available" and a link to Twitter's rules and policies explaining why the company removes or limits certain posts.
The tweet in question, posted on Saturday by Dr. Scott Atlas, read, "Masks work? NO: LA, Miami, Hawaii, Alabama, France, Phlippnes, UK, Spain, Israel. WHO:"widesprd use not supported" + many harms; Heneghan/Oxf CEBM:"despite decades, considerble uncertainty re value"; CDC rvw May:"no sig red'n in inflnz transm'n"; learn why."

Masks should be encouraged for those who are immune compromised.
Mandated/enforced by law and punishable by imprisonment is a totally different story.
I wish it were always my choice. Too many mask-Nazi establishments around. I ignore the signs as a rule, and very few employees say anything, but every once in a while some Karen has to butt in.
Who is deciding what is false and what isn’t??????
Public health officials aka bureaucrats with letters after their names. The big tech oligarchs endorse whatever they say.
Differing opinions from working physicians based on thousands of independent documented observations are considered false.
Next time a big tech punk needs surgery I hope they report to a cdc bureaucrat to get it done.
America’s Frontline Doctors know that masks don’t work and that early treatment does work in virtually every case. Check out this site: https://www.americasfrontlinedoctors.com/
Twitter medical experts are best medical experts

Get ivermectin!
If you go into a restaurant and can smell the food cooking through your mask....you can get the rona.
But I think most people get it from touching surfaces, then their faces
Like when they are adjusting their masks
“Falsely claiming” no bias here. It is not a false claim in regards to most masks and how and when they are worn and cared for.
They've gone from saying, "claiming without evidence" to "falsely claiming".
The reason the Founders sxafeguarded freedom of speech was that, even if someone was a crackpot and had wild ideas to express, the people could hear it and make up their own minds.
Not King George III or his soldiers.
1700’s: Little creatures a speaker calls “germs” mean we should sterilize medical instruments and wear gloves for operations? Sounds nuts. No one has seen those alleged “germs”. Censor his broadsheets and throw him in jail.
I’ve had a nagging suspicion for awhile that I thought was completely outlandish until lately when I’ve seen just how crazy the Democrats are.
My thought was that Joe had some sort of seizure, maybe a stroke (remember that weird moment when his eye went suddenly red?), and medical authorities urged that he stay home and recover.
Of course, his campaign strategists thought that was the end of the game. They couldn’t very well tell the public that ol’ Joe had a condition that was confining him to his home.
That is, until one of them piped up, “I know! Nobody would suspect a thing if EVERYBODY was confined to their home!”
Crazy, I know. But the way things are going, crazy seems to be the operative word for 2020.
As far as masks go, if you feel better wearing one, do it.;””
That may be part of the reason people wearing masks catch Covid more: They feel protected and so they go out more and get closer. That’ll pretty much do it even if the masks do offer some level of protection.
My posting privileges were suspended on a social media site for cruises when I posted comments about masks, etc,. I was told I was disturbing the community. I suspect some of the mask wearing vigilantes named Karen complained.
Social media = anti-social media
Or taking off their mask and setting it on surfaces to eat.
May I use that? It’s brilliant!
"ex" means "has-been" and "spurt" is "a drip under pressure"
Be my guest but be aware the young folks will accuse you of being old fashion and not understand how important their friends on social media especially Facebook are to them. I tell them I’d rather have a few real life human friends than a lot of electronic friends.
So, the New York Times has sponsored a competing Medical Study to show that Masks work. Did they do a double blind study, did they test thousands of people and quote case studies to prove their point that it was a false statement that masks dont work?
Or did they find some asshole in the mail room that is blind in both eyes to debunk the multiple studies and signed statements by hundreds of people who happen to be Doctors that masks are at best 25% effective because actual case studies show that 86% of people who caught Covid wore masks?
The New York Times is not only practicing medicine without a license, they are putting Millions of Americans (Fauci) in danger of Death by Covid.
