Hi, SoL. have my crock pot going also. Lentil soup... fresh garden veggies, brown rice, and fennel are additions to recipe here Im trying. I make lentil soup a lot.. just vary ingredients for fun and will add small amount of greens from garden at end.

Mine’s basically a minestrone without the pasta, but I threw some leftover brown rice in the pot.
Next on my list is lentil! I’ve never made it but it always sounds/looks good. That’ll be next weekend since we’re supposed to have rain again Friday and cooler temps on Saturday and Sunday.
