Twitter still holding The Post’s account hostage over Hunter Biden links

Twitter has refused to unlock The Post’s account unless the news organization deletes six tweets about its own reporting on Hunter Biden’s emails — despite a policy change sparked by outrage over that very same social-media suppression of the stories.

In a Friday afternoon email, a Twitter representative told The Post, “While we’ve updated the policy, we don’t change enforcement retroactively. You will still need to delete the Tweets to regain access to your account.”

The demand that The Post remove links to its own stories came even though a new policy announced Thursday night allows other users to tweet the very same links.

“Over the last 24 hours, we’ve received significant feedback (from critical to supportive) about how we enforced our Hacked Materials Policy yesterday,” wrote Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s “Legal, Policy and Trust & Safety Lead.”

“After reflecting on this feedback, we have decided to make changes to the policy and how we enforce it.”

NY Post Composite The company will no longer remove hacked content “unless it is directly shared by hackers or those acting in concert with them” and will instead “label Tweets to provide context instead of blocking links from being shared on Twitter.”

Meanwhile, anyone who looks at The Post’s Twitter feed can’t even see the tweets about the Biden stories, which have been replaced by messages saying, “This Tweet is no longer available.”

Twitter hasn’t responded to an inquiry from The Post asking how it determined that the stories in question were allegedly based on “hacked materials.”

Meanwhile Fox reported extensively tonight that they have confirmed important new emails from independent sources. Also confirmed that the big guy referred to as getting a cut of the money is Joe Biden.

Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s “Legal, Policy and Trust & Safety Lead” lies reflexively for Jack in the discussion with Tim Pool on Joe Rogan. I watched this whole interview, and she’s a complete piece of crap along with Jack, was my take-away some time ago, from watching this:

Joe Rogan Experience #1258 - Jack Dorsey, Vijaya Gadde & Tim Pool
https://youtu.be/DZCBRHOg3PQ

Jack Dorsey is a computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur who is co-founder and CEO of Twitter, and founder and CEO of Square, a mobile payments company. Vijaya Gadde serves as the global lead for legal, policy, and trust and safety at Twitter. Tim Pool is an independent journalist. His work can currently be found at http://timcast.com

From about a year ago.

There well over 4 million views of that, and I’m fairly certain a large majority came to the same conclusion.

Twitter Shuts Down Entire Network To Slow Spread Of Negative Biden News!

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—In a last-ditch effort to stop negative stories about Joe Biden and his family from spreading, Twitter shut down its entire social network Thursday.

After seeing account after account tweet out one particularly bad story, CEO Jack Dorsey realized he had to take action. Dorsey smashed a glass box in his office reading “Break In Case Of Bad Publicity For Democrats.” Inside the case was a sledgehammer for smashing Twitter’s servers.

“Red alert — shut the servers down! Shut them all down!”

Dorsey ran downstairs and started smashing as many computers as he could, but he did need to ask for some help, as the hammer was pretty heavy. None of the programmers could lift the hammer, either. Eventually, they managed to program a robot to pick up the sledgehammer and smash the servers.

After hearing the Twitter employees talk about critical theory, the robot got woke and began attacking all the cis white males.

I was thinking every conservative on twitter should post this story over and over forcing twitter to lock their accounts between now and next Friday.

Make the number of accounts locked a sky high number.

Better to stand firm. Don’t delete. Keep pushing for it to be reopened and let Twitter keep digging the hole bigger. If it is still not reopened, then Republicans need to raise this issue at the hearing and yank their 230 protection.

Makes no sense if they’re allowed under “new rules”...all they have to do is remove and then re-post them...
