The presidential campaign of former Vice President Joe Biden raised a record $383 million for the month of September -- topping the Trump campaign's haul by $135 million.
Biden's campaign announced the giant figure late Wednesday, which surpassed even the $364 million it raised in August -- which had also set a record for the most money ever raised by a candidate in a single month.
"To every person who chipped in a few dollars last month -- thank you," Biden tweeted. "I'm incredibly humbled."
Re-election communications director Tim Murtaugh tweeted Thursday that President Donald Trump's campaign raised $248 million for the month.
Trump's total was $37 million more than its August haul.
By comparison, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton raised $154 million in September 2016.
Biden's campaign said it has $432 million in cash on hand compared to $251 million for Trump's.
Biden's campaign also outraised Trump's by $150 million in August, which occurred shortly after he announced that California Sen. Kamala Harris would join him on the Democratic ticket.
The Democratic challenger has used some of the money to buy television ads in Republican-strong states like Texas, Nebraska and Iowa.
ActBlue, the Democratic Party's payment system, handled $1.5 billion in the third quarter, including $758 million in September alone, signaling a flood of donations at the grassroots level.
The Republican system, WinRed, processed $623 million for the quarter.

It’s a giveaway to the media giants. Biden is only spending it on commercials and very few events. Dude has no ground game.

I've supported other races but don't have endless funds for campaigns.
I haven't made any new money since March 15, 2020 to make any political contributions! I got a little "Pandemic Unemployment Assistance" for about 6 weeks but that sure petered out in a hurry.
I'm old and have co-morbidities and used to drive for Uber but my spouse is the same age as I am so I can't bring the COVID CURSE home to her.
Plus the stupid state of CA has just about put Uber out of the business until Prop 22 passes (if it ever does).
So I guess I won't enjoy contributing to our blessed POTUS's re-election campaign but I sure wish him God Speed!!!

Basically Biden has unlimited money. The numbers they are repotting may not even be half of the money he actually has.
And 75 million for Trump came from one single person. Sheldon adelson. I think we should all send him thank you emails.

I never got my confirmation for the Jacksonville rally. We went anyway and they didn’t check tickets. Others on FR have said the same thing.

CA is all about the relatively few close Congressional races.
The ads are designed to assist Democratic turnout.
That is a big concern because Biden is seen as a pathetic candidate, particularly by young Democrat voters.
Nolan Ryan had 383 strikeouts in one season. But his team didn’t go to the World Series that year.
But Trump did not take a cent from Soros, and Biden sold his soul, again...
We have established Biden is a Treasonous Whore, we have not yet established his price.
This will make the Democrat defeat even more enjoyable.
Mony haul is inconsistent with turnout both physical and online for Sleepy Joe’s events...
