'We must be careful': Gov. Murphy discourages holiday gatherings as New Jersey COVID cases rise

TRENTON, New Jersey -- With another nearly 1,000 new coronavirus cases reported Thursday in New Jersey, state officials are discouraging large indoor holiday gatherings, including Thanksgiving dinner.

For many, it'll be a very different kind of holiday season. Sandy Kramer, of Mount Laurel, typically hosts 15 to 18 people at her Thanksgiving table.

"I do the turkey and the stuffing. My daughter does the rest," said Kramer.

But this year's crowd will be much smaller - just a few people.

"We always have a good time. But maybe next year," she said.

What is the end game with this sh&^?? Last night on a Facebook group I am in, people were asking a few nurses what was going on at the hospital these days? They both said it is quiet on the covid front and the psych wards are full.

What these lockdowns are doing to people is disheartening and disgusting. All these "suggestions" about thanksgiving is making it worse.

Trump was a “case”. How’s he doing.

So were Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita. How are they doing?

My daughter and her husband were “cases”. they showed minor symptoms for a few days and that was it. It was less than a bad cold.

I understand that people in nursing homes or with ventilators shoved down their throat can die, but this thing really doesn’t sound to serious. Not even as serious as the flu.

So, my question: So what if there are “cases”? Big deal. Why is that news?

This governor and those like him can kiss my ass. It is not business how I celebrate holidays and how many people I have at my house. I guarantee you this year it’s going to be double and masks will be banned at the front door

What is always missing from the number of new cases is the number of deaths. It’s 0 (zero). No deaths. None. Zip zilch nada. In any past epidemic we would only hear about death numbers. We have become such weenies.
