many people in the suburbs move out further because of the inner city folks that keep coming into the suburbs, so is it really losing the suburbs or just the fact that many suburbs are more urban now than they used to be.

Well, if you've seen the ads, Uncle Joe promises..

1. National Mask Mandate (good..that reduces spread of the virus)

2. DPA to produce PPE (good..our healthcare workers STILL don't have enough PPE, which is SIMPLY. UNBELIEVABLE. 9 months in).

3. A NATIONAL strategy for testing (good - the "you're on your own, Governors..figure it out" pitted every state against each other, competing for testing resources).

Gotta say, while I realize it's not popular..Biden is articulating a strategy to deal with this nightmare, while Trump continues to insist "we've turned the corner..it's going to go away". And THAT is why he is losing, especially with Seniors who have every reasonable right to be very concerned about contracting this God-forsaken virus.

I’m just barely west of Minneapolistan. A few miles to the west of me WAS a very nice suburb. During the hussein years they added a gob of Section 8 apartment buildings and filled them with Somalians. They ruined the schools and the town.

I live in one and so does my sister and both neighborhoods are full of Biden signs. We counted them in my sister’s neighborhood on Sunday and literally every other yard has one. Our neighborhood is better, but it’s still 5-1 Biden. This is the northeast side of Indiana an area that used to be deep red. It is now populated by college educated Blacks, and techy Millennials.

I think Trumps making fun of Joe has cost him some too. A lot of these seniors probably have friends with dementia issues, maybe even spouses, making fun of that is not endearing. Some time the president is his own worst enemy. Saw a tweet the other day of Biden photoshopped in a wheel chair in a group of seniors in wheel chairs with a snarky comment. I’m 69 and I cringed.

Dumb or not, Seniors (65+) were 1/6th of the voters in 2016. Even a modest shift to 50/50, for a group that was +7 for Trump in 2016, would be tough to overcome for Trump.

I live in a pretty conservative suburb in Alabama, but you would never know it. The streets are pancaked with Doug Jones for Senate signs. Most of the houses with them have a second, or even third sign as well. Doug will probably lose the city 65 to 35 to Tommy Tubberville, but the 35% is so vocal and over the top (they are either Karens or attorneys) you are led to believe that you are now the outsider.

By the way, anytime a sign gets stolen they have to put a post out on the Next Door app or Facebook as if it is the first time that has ever happened, and that is represents what Trump has done to this country. Usually I have to follow up with links to numerous articles where Trump signs have been vandalized or property outright damaged.
