WASHINGTON — Federal investigators are examining whether the emails allegedly describing activities by Joe Biden and his son Hunter and found on a laptop at a Delaware repair shop are linked to a foreign intelligence operation, two people familiar with the matter told NBC News.
The FBI seized the laptop and a hard drive through a grand jury subpoena. The subpoena was later published by the New York Post. The bureau has declined to comment.

Many commentators have said it is hard to believe that Hunter Biden would abandon a Mac laptop full of incriminating information at a repair shop.
Some have speculated that the material could have been hacked from Hunter Biden’s accounts and put on the laptop as a cover story to offer a plausible explanation of how the material became public
I have a close relative who had a drug problem. He lost cars. One was towed from where ever he wrecked it never to be seen again. Don’t know what they did without a title.
Here is what the mass media will go for:
“The computer was hacked by a super duper secret Russian mole within the FBI who snuck into the storage room and replaced Hunter’s family photos will a huge file of dirt created in the basement of the Kremlin. This operation was personally directed by Putin.”
Setting aside the “Russia” bullshit, I’ll just say that I worked for Apple for nearly ten years and what Biden supposedly did was something that people would do ALL THE GODDAMNED TIME. Frankly, in exactly the circumstances described.
1. “Rich” guy comes in with Mac that “just doesn’t turn on.”
2. We open it up and find that it’s taken a bath and call them and tell them that it’ll be $1000 to fix.
3. We never hear from them again.
4. After a few months, we’d dispose of the machine (actually get rid of it).
I probably saw this exact scenario play out hundreds of times.
Like Hillary’s emails, Hunter and Joe are just victims of a (probably) Russian hack.
This didn’t come up on either debates tonight. I wonder if Trump is holding fire until they can be authenticated.
It gives Rudy some legal cover. He claims the laptop became legal property of the shop owner after 90 days. The lawyer can defend that claim.
Yes, I agree. Rudy strung us along for 2 years. He may have been handed something he thought was too good to check.
It’s not at all hard to believe a guy that left drugs and a crack pipe in a rental car would be stupid enough to do almost anything.
The Feds haven’t had a friggin year to figure that out yet?

That part of it is pretty normal these days to keep the story going.
Watch for a parade of bimbos next week, all claiming rape. One after another. All week. All accusing Trump.
That’s how this works.
Interesting they are not saying any of this is false , just the Russians may have planted hacked legit Hunter Biden emails on that hard drive so people would find out what Biden was up to.
Still guilty as sin regardless.
Trump’s stolen tax returns are “proof” but steal Hillary’s emails or get into Hunters computer, and everything found must be discredited, according to the MSM.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Fibbers poured bleach over their copy of the hard drive—and now try to blame it on the Russians.
