NBC News will host a live town hall with Republican presidential nominee President Donald Trump, moderated by Savannah Guthrie, in Miami on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. During the one-hour town hall, Guthrie will moderate a conversation between President Trump and a group of Florida voters on critical issues impacting their vote less than three weeks before Election Day.
The event will take place outdoors at the Pérez Art Museum Miami in accordance with guidelines set forth by health officials and consistent with all government regulations. NBC News has been given a statement by Dr. Clifford Lane, Clinical Director at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), indicating that he and Dr. Anthony Fauci have reviewed the president’s recent medical data, including a PCR test collected and analyzed by NIH on Oct. 13, and have concluded “with a high degree of confidence” that the president is “not shedding infectious virus.”
Both Guthrie and the president will be at least 12 feet apart from both each other and the audience. The audience will also be socially-distanced and required to wear face masks while on the premises, answer a symptoms questionnaire and take a temperature check prior to entering the outdoor venue. Every NBC News staffer will be tested on site on the ground in Miami.
The town hall will follow the same format and will air in the time slot as NBC News’ town hall with Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, moderated by Lester Holt, held last Monday, Oct. 5. In addition to airing on NBC, the primetime event will also air across MSNBC and CNBC, stream on NBC News NOW and be available in Spanish on Telemundo’s digital platforms.

Wasn't there some guy, who didn't kill himself, who was in the news a while back, and who had connections to some famous D's- had an island somewhere, and then went to jail, because he was accused of that?
The person who chose the NBC audience made an effort to find citizens who really were undecided. That was refreshing. Good job on that part NBC.
Unfortunately Savannah Guthrie was NOT happy with honest undecided voters. She wanted the usual haters. Questions chosen for their sting... not their concern. White liberal ‘elites’ with attitude... that’s what Savannah wanted ...
So, she tossed the idea of a town hall and used the occasion to express her contempt for our President - only occasionally calling on citizens. (as if the American people haven’t been inundated with the positions of white liberal ‘elites’.
And today’s news? Only the back and forth with the NBC white liberal ‘elite’ hater... Not one citizen question make the cut. Screw ‘em.
I knew it would be this way with her- very few questions from the people and her badgering, hammering him, to nail him down to every friggin question.
The President made a very bad decision allowing her to run this show. I swear he doesn’t learn.
The last test question is because it was required everyone test negative day of debate. They/she is trying to nail him with a yes or no what was date last tested because they want evidence/accuse President of infecting everyone.

Guthrie showed herself to be the face of the screeching fake news media and Trump handled her perfectly.
He’s not going to make any additional head-way by going into comfortable situations. He went into enemy territory and handed her her ass several times.
The President should have taken control:
Look Suthrie this is a town hall for the people TO ASK ME questions not for you TO TAKE TOTAL CONTROL over this timeframe.

THE PRESIDENT should have taken back the control and told her point blank. I will answer questions from the people in the town hall, this is their scheduled time and this is NOT YOUR PERSONAL TV SHOW. Now can I have the first question from the people here.
Joe Concha from the HILL said Savannah asked 42 questions to President and only 10 questions were from the people in the audience.
President should have stopped her dead in her tracks and said: no more questions from you- this is the forum for the people, by the people.
The easiest job in football is armchair QB. He did fantastic compared to the beachballs Senile Joe got.
