Wonder who told the FBI that he had the laptop. I’m surprised the FBI didn’t take the laptop.
The repair shop guy must have told people of his find. Wonder who he told.
My understanding is that the repair shop guy contacted the FBI himself and said, “I have Hunter Biden’s laptop. It’s got bad stuff on it. I think you need to look at it.”
And the repair shop guy had either already taken precautionary steps or else he listened to the FBI’s response and possibly at that point decided, “I better take precautionary steps. I think I’m now in danger from these FBI guys.”
I thought the shop owner called the FBI and gave them the laptop. The shop owner copied everything on the laptop prior to handing it over.
