Even the bluest of blue states, California, is “allowing 3 households to gather” for Thanksgiving.
Of course, with a caveat—the dinner should be outside, in 40 degree weather (it’s not 75 year round everywhere in CA). We need to all buy heatlamps.
And CA will “allow” the Thanksiving guests to pee inside the home “as long as the bathrooms are sanitized.”
Still, Fauci goes further—no Thanksgiving dinners at all!

I love Thanksgiving on my terms... and usually I get invited to my ex sister in law and all those kids and endless television, and since I was a military cook way back in my youth I usually have to pitch in (take over) just to pull the meal together in a timely fashion, to the relief of all concerned. The boys hunt and usually bring 2 or 3 deer, so they’re occupied and the guys my age are couch potatoes and watch the boob-tube all day. The teens are outside and inside...
Not that I don’t like it... but this year I just want be home grilling a small bird with a few sides and not a big production

“Anyone who’s talking about doing another lockdown has really not been paying attention for the last seven months and is simply out of touch with average Americans because the prolonged lockdowns are a complete disaster,” said Dr. Scott Atlas a member of White House coronavirus task force in an interview with Laura Ingraham on Tuesday.
“They’re a complete disaster for most health care,” continued Atlas. “They’re a complete disaster for average working families and particularly for people who are working-class and lower-income people.”
When pushed by Ingraham about more potential lockdowns coming, Atlas said that “history will record the faces of the public health experts as some of the most sinful, egregious, epic failures in the history of public policy.”
“They have killed people with their lack of understanding and their lack of caring,” continued Atlas. “These people have been a gross failure because they never cared to consider the impact of the policy itself. And the policy itself has been a complete epic failure. And honestly, some people say crime against humanity. These people should be held accountable for what they said.”

I’m a bartender and have come into contact with hundreds of people over the past several months. I have never been tested, don’t know if I’ve had COVID19 or not, never had symptoms.
We’re having a surprise birthday party for a very popular employee tomorrow night and are expecting around seventy friends of the employee plus all the other customers.
We’ve never worn masks. Our oldest regular customer is 94.
So, I’ll be mixing drinks, opening bottles and cans without gloves. In other words, our lives are continuing and we are doing what we’ve always enjoyed.
