A St. Louis couple touted their relationship with President Trump on Wednesday after pleading not guilty to charges related to a confrontation in which they pointed guns at protesters marching their neighborhood.

Mark and Patricia McCloskey are charged with unlawful use of a weapon and tampering with evidence stemming from a June 28 face-off in which they were seen confronting Black Lives Matter protesters marching on the private street in front of their home.

Mark McCloskey wielded an AR-15 rifle while Patricia McCloskey held a semiautomatic pistol. The tense confrontation occurred during nationwide demonstrations against police brutality following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. The incident was recorded and quickly went viral.

When president Trump wins again.

I hope to see some positive action on the 2nd amendment.

Lot’s of talk so far not much action.

I am voting for the freedom to worship.
I am voting for a national recognition of the founding of our nation on Biblical principles.
I am voting for the ability for anyone to rise above their circumstances and become successful.
I am voting for my children and grandchildren to be able to choose their own path in life, including how and where their children are educated.
I am voting for our borders to be open to everyone who enters under our law and closed to everyone who would circumvent or ignore the law.
I am voting for the Electoral College to remain in place, so that a few heavily populated liberal centers do not control the elections.
I am voting for a Supreme Court that interprets the Constitution rather than rewrites it.
I am voting to teach history, with all its warts, not erase it or revise it.
I am voting for the sanctity of life from conception to birth and after.

Wonderful statements, whoever you are.

Agreed. If Trump can survive the massive vote fraud and our corrupt courts, we need 2nd Amendment protection and enforcement of our rights.

After Trump's inauguration, I had high hopes that with the Senate, House, and White House in Republican hands, we may have achieved things like National Reciprocity or holding the corrupt ATF accountable.

Little did I know how corrupt our GOP really was.

Neah.
They are BLM supporting Liberal trial lawyers, at least until they were mugged.
But that doesn’t mean they don’t have a right to keep and bear arms and a right to self defense. Or that we should not support them in this.

A few folks here persistently accuse the McCloskeys of being “liberal Democrats who got mugged,” but is it fair or true? When the McCloskeys were donating to Trump FOUR (4) years ago... or to the Giuliani Exploratory Committee in 2000, or, hell, to BUSH-QUAYLE in 1992, were they liberal Dems then too?
Explain this away...
