I was trying to be a bit sarcastic with my comment. Obviously there are Trump supporters in every state. It’s pretty bold to do what they did in NYC. Wish we had millions more do the same thing.
I love it. In their face! Sad thing is-there are probably more people in New York who love Trump than they let on but aren’t going to say so.
When I was in the USN, I met a lot of guys from New York, and while it was a common joke that they were the most disliked guys around and they had a rep for being obnoxious (and some were) truth was, once you got to know them some were pretty good guys.
Thing is...Trump really is one of those guys. I find it hard to believe they wouldn’t completely identify with him. I think a lot of them just don’t want the hassle from the Leftists, of which there are many...:)
As for us in my state, I admit I pretty much only socialize and interact (beyond work, of course) with my friends and acquaintances, who are all just as conservative as I am.
Thank God. If I didn’t have them to counteract all the “Black Lives Matter”, “Science is Real” and “No Hate Here” signs...I would be a basket case!
