Its seven in the evening and youre working late. Youre interrupted by the soft rumble of hunger pangs, an unmistakable reminder that you havent eaten dinner yet. Theres this newish fusion restaurant a couple of blocks away that youve been wanting to try, but havent had the chance to. Every time youve walked past, its buzzing with activity. So you look the restaurant up on Yelp to see if its worth your time and money. You launch the app and search, only to be hit with an alert emblazoned with an ominously large exclamation point:
Business Accused of Racist Behavior
The R word. Its the new scarlet letter. Youre so taken aback that you almost forget that youre hungry. Your mind races to find a possible explanation. Could it be that the staff racially profiled a diner? Perhaps, like Starbucks, the staff allegedly denied bathroom access to a non-customer who happened to be black? Then you remember that these days, fusion cuisine itself is often a flashpoint in debates about cultural appropriation. Maybe the restaurant is just racist by virtue of its existence?
Who knows. Luckily, Yelp has kindly provided a link to a news article where you can learn about the incident. Another stomach grumble urges you to stick to your original mission to find sustenance quickly. Youll do the research later. Instead you order takeout from somewhere thats familiar, consistent and fast. Youve seen ads promoting the Travis Scott meal at McDonalds and he just won BETs rapper of the year so theres no way youre making a racist dining decision. McDonalds it is.
This scenario that isnt too far-fetched, thanks to Yelp, a company whose entire business is predicated on crowdsourced reviews about other businesses.

Why I dont use Yelp or anything similar.
Im more the word of mouth type.

When they tag a business “racist” I try to patronize that business.
Sort of like ACLU or SPLC, if they are against it, I’m for it
I want someone, for an art project, to create a fictitious business entity called “Accused of Racist Behavior.” Then they can rent a storefront, paint the awning and the window with the company name, and fill the display and store inventory with boxes (black text on white wrapping) labeled “Accused of Racist Behavior.” The store name will print out on the cash register receipts and will be displayed on its business cards. It will be in the url of its store Web site. Hey! GoDaddy says “accusedofracistbehavior.com is available.” How about that!
Yeah — I agree with that.... especially the jury full of leftists. If, what you are saying, actually transpires — just think about how many leftists will be inspired by that single event and then go out and do the same - thinking they will also get off from murder charges -— when they kill “aggressive” Trump supporters...
With the latest Project Veritas being released — it seems that despite only targeting the billionaires... they are going to go for anyone else they deem in control of the system... which could be anyone...
Violent Our Revolution Chair Kris Jacks Reveals How Far He and Cohorts Have Infiltrated Colorado Democratic Party
These people are NUTS (of course you know this) — but the situation of targeting others — they not only have thought about it - but are acting on it - it’s way pass conspiracy at this point.
I also believe these “liberals in the middle” who vote Democrat are now seeing their erroneous ways and may be changing how they vote in the near future... especially with ANTIFA invading nice neighborhoods & small businesses...
The idiot of a communist female that is running for mayor out in OR — that is a tale-tell sign of what is to come as well — I wonder if she will actually get into office — and what the immediate after effects will be. How many businesses will pack up and leave - how many tax payers - walk!
Very interesting and dangerous times we are in — 2020 is going to be remembered for a long time!
Be safe — stay armed !!!
