NYT has not gotten the memo. Scientisr have proven a reinfection with a different genetic strain. Pt was “poitive” in April. Right after the fda said a single target was acceptable even if it wasnt the COVID 19 specuc gene.

My take on it is they know Biden is going to lose so they want to appear as if they had been acting tough on Democrats all along.
