Part of the Great Reset is to create a new economy. In order to do that they need the entire system to collapse. they missed their opportunity in 2008, but the pandemic gives them every chance to accomplish that goal.
They tried to spiral it down with global warming too, but that wasn’t working quickly enough. Then the global populist movement was taking things in the wrong direction, which probably hastened their action.
But they have been developing ID2020, so I guess they are right on their planned course. People often look to the Four Turnings as evidence that this was inevitable, but I look at it as likely the book itself was intended to help prepare us for their actions.
