But about half the people I meet and know are TERRIFIED! It’s embarrassing.

I fully agree with you as I see this all the time while out shopping with Wifey at WalMart and Smith's grocery. I'm in a mask-mandated state, so have to play the game, but I'm at the stage where, if we MUST wear a mask, as the guy at the entrance reminds us, I fumble with it until past him and then wear it on my chin.

At this point, I see that I am the only one to do so, with a few covering only their mouths, but the rest fully masked with even some wearing a shield. Jesu! I get so ticked off I start bleating at these oblivious sheep, until Wifey pokes me in the ribs.

At the local casino, the change clerk asked me to pull up my mask and when I told her that if she hadn't caught the bug after seven months, she wasn't going to get it, she replied that it was better to be safe than sorry.

I am much like tou. My wife keeps me from losing my mind but she can’t stop me from flipping off social distancing signs. Yes I am old enough to be “at risk” but i just don’t give a Shiite.
