I’m no expert on Robert’s Rules of Order or Senate rules but if all the the Republicans show up, since they are in the majority, isn’t that a quorum?
From what I understand 50%+1 is a quorum. I imagine the dems want to recruit or kidnap some Republican Senators.
There is another thread that discusses Schumer’s strategy. There needs to be two Dems present in order for Amy’s nomination to get out of committee, and they are planning to boycott the Oct 22 date which is when the planned vote will be held.
I think the Republicans should just go ahead and move to vote tomorrow!
