It’s too bad the FBI isn’t in the Executive Branch where the President could have some control over them.

I understand your frustration. But are any federal laws being broken when ‘mostly peaceful’ protestors are toppling city or state or privately owned statues? And when they shine green lasers into the eyes of people documenting their rampages, are they violating federal law then? Seems to me the city and state are responsible for enforcing local laws and they are basically refusing to do so.

Actually, it is. FBI is under the DOJ, which is an executive branch department.

I know it seems like in his first year he ought to have been able to clean house and remake the entire executive branch in his image - but there are over four million people in the executive branch - it is a tall order to clean out a century of corruption. Figuring out who you can trust and who needs to be fired is a daunting task.

I think we the people need to give President Trump a bigger mandate this time - a popular vote win, and an Electoral College win more like 360 - not 306.

People forget how close 2016 was. About half a percent in three states - PA, MI, and WI - gave him the win - that is not a clear enough message from the people.

That is why President Trump has had his authority challenged, questioned, doubted and even impeached, throughout his entire first term.

It is not fair to expect him to “drain the swamp”, “purge the deep state”, “lock her up” with such a weak mandate from the people. He has done amazing job considering the lions’ den we threw him into -

- we have to give him a better margin of victory this time
