The LGBTQ Victory Fund has put out its inaugural Out on the Trail report which offers an analysis of the diversity of the openly LGBTQ candidates who ran for office in 2020.
Among the report’s findings:
“At least 1,006 openly LGBTQ people ran or are running for office in 2020 – the most in history – and a 41 percent jump since the last midterm election in 2018, when 716 openly LGBTQ candidates ran. At least 574 LGBTQ candidates will appear on the general election ballot in November, up from 432 in 2018, a 33 percent increase.”

Wow, this is just great. It is good to know that one’s sexual orientation is a primary qualification to hold office. What will be next? Maybe someone will recognize that the only qualifications to be vice president is their gender and skin color. Yep, we can’t have any of that old school “content of their character” crap. It’s what dangles or doesn’t dangle between their legs and what they do with it that matters. That makes good elected officials.

Thank you very much. That is a new word to me. Receiving a new one happens infrequently. The last word added to my vocabulary also came from a FRiend. It was defenestration. Now to put them to use so I do not forget. The defenstration of the kakistocracy in America signaled a rebirth of the Republic. (Just a fantasy that I have.)
Gays only hire other gays. I have seen it in my business. These gay politicians will only hire and push gay friendly rules and laws.
The country can never recover from this. Trump will be the last Republican/conservative President.
Poor personal choices are a harbinger of equally poor legislative ones.
If one looks at the “content of their character” it is obvious that politicians have little to no character.
Therefore it follows that the depraved and degenerates would gravitate to political careers. And most likely be Democrats to boot.
I heard this morning the actual numer of gays is roughly 2%. With others who have briefly tried something homosexual at least once (probably as the Katy Perry song “I Kissed A Girl” but who knows?).
But for 2% we have to turn America into a pagan wilderness of depravity for the 98% to put up with? TV ads, TV family shows, school class lessons....
Should we all have to have phone recordings and traffic signs in Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Urdu, Kannada, Odia ...and about 12 others to satisfy Indians here? Kamala might go for that. Actually 0.9% are Indian Americans.
