First, Diane Feinstein does not have hair that black....please. Somebody said she was 87, correct? But coloring one’s hair is no sin but I gossip.
Moving on....this affordable care act thing....as I understand it the GOP got that part about paying money for a service you don’t receive or being forced to purchase something you don’t necessarily want...removed.
They didn’t overturn the ACA, however.
So the Dems are worried that the Supreme Court might overturn it....correct?
How could the court overturn such a thing and, frankly, would that be a good idea? I know it has something to do with being defined as a tax or not but it looks like it’s going to be part of their argument.
I got thoughts on that but later.
Now, about Roe vs. Wade....the concept is for the court to overturn it and have the states take over whether the state will allow abortion and all the details.
I mean, obviously the states have been allowed control over this virus thing so why couldn’t such control over terminating a pregnancy be left to the states? Thus New York would grow a huge abortion industry while Indiana will allow no such thing.

But I do not think it would be a good idea to make abortion illegal, no matter at a state level or federal level. It would have been a good idea to have never allowed it to become legal to begin with but I had a couple of Aunts and friends die from back alley abortions. The whole concept of women having to seek such a thing illegally is not a good idea.
But back in those days you didn’t have the great birth control that you have today and....well it was a different world. More, they opened up a slippery slope that now we have babies born alive and are allowed to die even if out of the womb.
Finally, a woman who is raped, or a young adolescent impregnated by her father should NOT be forced to have a baby by their tormenter. I do realize that very few abortions are done because of rape and adolescents bearing the child of a male relative but just find me one and her picture will be all over the screens telling the world that the Republicans want this sweet child made pregnant by a violent rape....and abortion will be made legal again.
Yeah, I know....we can allow rape to be an exception to any illegality of abortion but then every female wanting an abortion will claim to have been raped.
In short, and let the brickbats fly, I think the Republicans should leave abortion alone although those who do it are sinners and will meet their maker and be sent to hell.
