It’s Time To Get Real About November

Preaching to the choir is fun. It gets you a lot of “amens.” It makes a writer feel like they’re on to something when they write something their readers shower them with emails about how much they agree with them. It is also meaningless in the grand scheme of things. If all you do is tell people what they want to be true, you are doing them and whatever cause you care about a great disservice.

Given their choice, my kids would eat only chocolate ice cream and macaroni and cheese. Getting three and two-year-olds to eat vegetables requires the ability to sneak the vegetables into the few foods the kids will eat without a fight, and it’s the job of me and my wife to make sure we do it. When it comes to politics and adults, there’s no reason to sugarcoat the vegetables of life, so I’m just going to say it: Donald Trump stands a good chance of losing the election, and Republicans could be blown out of Congress.

It’s not a foregone conclusion, not close to a certainty, but it’s foolish to pretend otherwise. For the pundit class, there is no downside to proclaiming Trump will win. What is going to happen to them if they’re wrong? Absolutely nothing. Their columns will still run, their paychecks will still clear. If the president does win reelection, they can proclaim themselves soothsayers who “were the only ones who saw it coming.” But I promise you, they’re selling you something and not telling you something they know. Likely, it's not even something they believe.

I’m not telling you this to ruin your day. I’m telling you this to put a burr under your saddle. It’s easy to sit on the sidelines and wait. Rooting for an outcome isn’t enough this year. Posting to social media is nice, but it’s likely tuned out by people conservatives need to reach or, more likely, filtered out by left-wing social media billionaires and their millionaire army of flying monkeys hellbent on manipulating the public into a Democrat landslide. We’ve all got to do more, a lot more.

It’s not 2016. That $1 billion in free media candidate Donald Trump enjoyed then is not there for President Trump now. President Trump is the enemy of the outlets that elevated him, and half of Fox seems to now be against him too. That free time will not only be dedicated to Joe Biden, and all that remains will be spent smearing Trump.

If there’s one Republican who can fight off that hoard it’s Donald Trump, but he can’t do it alone. Every advantage that can be thrown his way, we must do. Every disadvantage that can be put in the way of the left must be, doubly.

In 2016, Facebook, Twitter and the rest were barely interested in politics. Now, it’s what they breathe. The battleground states remain, but the battlegrounds have changed, dramatically.

It’s not impossible, but it is nearly as close as one can get without being there. Complacency is the enemy of all that must be done to pull back from the precipice. A false sense of inevitable victory will breed complacency, which is why I’m critical of those spreading it.

There aren’t any days off between now and November 3rd. The Supreme Court nomination fight for Amy Coney Barrett starts today. And there are twenty trillion news cycles before all this is over. The crazy we’ve seen from the left in the last four years is going to look like a day in the park compared to the next three and a half weeks.

There will be good days and there will be bad days and bad news days, lots of them. Polls will tell you nothing but the media won’t shut up about them; they will be shouted from the mountain tops. There will be lies, lots of lies, and probably some more violence too.

Have no delusions about what’s to come or how it will end, no one has any idea whatsoever how it will end. We’ll find out if there is a silent majority or not. And we’ll have to fight for every inch of ground.

Don’t believe the people telling you they know what’s going to happen. It may make you feel good, but they have no idea. And they’re risking doing damage at a time when we can least afford it.

The cheerleaders are the most popular girls in school.

But they’re not usually known for their brains.

The author implies we are being complacent, not tuned in. I can’t speak for anyone else of course but I know what I’m doing on election day and also what my family and most of the folks I know will be doing. It is all I and everyone else can do.

But I do see enthusiasm off the charts for Trump and absolutely none for Biden. This has made me hopeful and with good reason. I see no harm in taking pleasure and comfort from this showing of support for our president as long as it doesn’t bring with it complacency.

Indeed. Beware of people who assert they KNOW what is going to happen.

Does anyone believe that the Establishment will allow another Four years of Trump? We’ve been telling them that what they’ve been doing isn’t working and Trump was the messenger. .
We need a tidal wave of voters The Dems always point to the popular vote as a tell tale sign. . Those in California who believe their vote doesn’t matter in the scheme of things are needed now. The narrower the vote margin the better. Let’s roll!

I beg to differ. We have a seasonal place in NEPA, minutes from our NY home base. The Biden Harris signs far outnumber the Trump signs in Susquehanna County. That is a fact. Just saying...

Interesting. Susquehanna is a Republican county.

America is “divided,” because we always have been. American lands consist of over 3.7 million square miles of Earth. With over 370 million souls calling themselves American, that means every American could have 1/100th of a square mile of land to themselves. We are a gigantic nation compared to, say, Europe, and there are absolutely going to be differences of opinion.

To say that feelings for Trump in Florida are the same as those in Washington or California or Idaho would be foolhardy, yet most polling uses comparatively small sample sizes. If anyone is foolish enough to believe polling or the new outlets reporting it, they likely lack the attention span required to make informed decisions about their leaders.

Our founders expected the electorate to be informed. The media has done a piss poor job of it and our education system over the last 30 years has imbued the youngest crop of voters with a socialist dogma that sets us back to pre-WWI days of foolhardy ignorance.

If you’re leaning on polls, you’re an idiot, regardless of party preference. As a citizen of the United States, you have a duty to vote. It’s been done for over 240 years in America and for millennia across democratic institutions in the world, for good or for bad. It’s like what my step dad used to say about church, “it’s one hour a week to save your soul.” Voting is one day every 2 years to ensure your life is as safe and sacred as it has been since our founding. Take the time to make educated, informed decisions, and for the love of God don’t vote to flush our representative republic down the toilet or worse, refuse to vote because you think it’s pointless.

Pray to God for Trump to win cause your life and family literally depends on it. 2. Try your best to convince as many people you have contact with between now and Election Day to vote for Trump. 2. Vote at your precinct on Election Day and report any observed shenanigans.

“Interesting. Susquehanna is a Republican county.”

HEAVILY Republican, and Susquehanna will vote the right way in November as it always does.

They’ve made only one mistake in Presidential elections since 1912, and that was in 1964 when the Republicans ran the only candidate who’s ever even come close to being as hated (by the Tribe of puppetmasters and media-controllers, who successfully transferred that hatred to otherwise-sensible voters) as Trump is now.

But it’s smart to acknowledge that, for all of our off-the-charts enthusiasm to get Trump re-elected, the only MORE enthusiastic group is the one dedicated to exactly the opposite task.

This week in Miami the police estimated that a parade supporting Trump consisted of 30,000 vehicles. How many boat parades have we heard of that consisted of hundreds and sometimes thousands of boats? Trump can announce a rally and two days later have thousands show up. A group of special force type supporters in the dark of night and with military precision erected a giant TRUMP sign overlooking a freeway in Los Angeles. The excitement and enthusiasm for Trump is being exhibited from sea to sea and from Maine to Arizona.

The largest crowds that the Biden/Harris campaign have been able to generate so far consist of Antifa/Black Lives Matter riots in many cities controlled by Democrats. Anybody with a brain the size of a peanut knows that there are no Republicans participating in the riots that produce lawlessness, looting and burning—NONE. The participants are all Democrats.

Biden and Harris appeared together for the first time since the virtual convention for an alleged event in Arizona this week and no one even knew it happened. One reporter supposedly covering the event was stationed at least a block away and spent her entire report trying to explain why no one showed up and why the Biden campaign thought this was acceptable.

The enthusiasm for President Trump is genuine and spontaneous while Biden is depending on the media to continually prop up his sickly campaign. But why would anyone expect anything else from a senile fossil and a VP candidate that owes her current position in politics to the positions that she maintained with one Willie Brown in her past.

If Americans elect Joe Biden president, then I thank God that I am 81 years old, and am not long for this land.

“The Biden Harris signs far outnumber the Trump signs in Susquehanna County. That is a fact. Just saying...”

I can’t of course dispute that but if a Trump supporter is reluctant to put a sign in his yard than I can well understand that because I wouldn’t do it either.

I was speaking to the the 30,000 car rally in Mami Dade over the weekend and the multiple other rallies both attended and unattended by Trump in which many thousands show up while Biden draws no one at all. Or the support shown in of all places Southern CA and around the country with the boat armadas with literally thousands of boats.

I never said there was no support anywhere for Biden and it is expected in Sates such as PA, NJ, NY, and the rest of the traditionally liberals States. Susquehanna Cty last time went for Trump about 2-1 with 18,000 votes being cast.

I do recall in 2016 few gave Trump any chance in PA and I’m guessing the sign situation was the same then as now with many just uncomfortable putting Trump signs up. Another metric to consider is the numbers who fly our flag. I’m thinking a person who does this is more likely a Trump supporter than not.

We’ll have to see what happens.

A sort of silly article but necessary. It is necessary from the standpoint of preventing complacency.

It is silly from the standpoint of us not knowing what we are up against. We all know that the media and social media are rigged. We all know about the money arrayed against us. And we are not, none of us, simply sitting on our rear ends thinking that this is in the bag. I don’t think for a second that the President or his campaign is.

On the contrary, what motivates us and panics is is the realization that it is game over if Biden wins. I have not met many Trump supporters who are not motivated.

Convincing others? Forget it. Many minds are made up. Who are you trying to convince? A idiotic suburban Mom with their insulated narcissistic view of the world? The Mom whose who life is yoga with her gal pals and porting the kids around? A woman whose husband, or herself in many cases, will lose a job or a business if Biden gets in. YET, that person will sit there giving a litany of reasons that they know Biden is a bad choice but they still are voting for him because “that Trump is a meanie!!”

Or are we going to convince a person who is just democrat because they have always been? Never mind that the democrat party calls him or her a beneficiary of white privilege who must be destroyed. “Oh no, they surely don’t mean me” is what goes through their programmed minds.

I have tried on both accounts to move the ball with these types and failed to make a dent.

Bottom line is this, if there are more of these people than us, we are already lost and whistling past the graveyard.

I think it is safe to say that We know the mountain to climb but we are not fools. I refuse to listen to pundits or the media (and their polls) who have been lying to us about Trump from day one. Doesn’t mean the polls aren’t correct. But we can’t trust them, period, we are flying blind.

Yard signs: a word if I may.

I live in NJ (for the next five months only, thank the Lord). I see more Biden signs than Trump, easily. But I noticed something peculiar the other day. I see less political signs overall than I am used to seeing. I will see a house with a Biden Harris sign and then no signs at all for ten or so houses.

In some cases I know many of the people who live in these houses with no signs and I know who they are voting for and it isn’t Biden/Harris. So why no sign? I think we all know the answer to that.

Signs, and who posts them or not, do not tell the tale at all.

But as long we are exchanging anecdotal evidence, here is something I have noted. When someone dares to wear a Trump t-shirt or hat, I notice people walking up to that person giving a thumbs up or exchanging cautious cheers.

It is eerie. It is as if we are all part of some secret resistance movement and have to watch out for the KGB. One brave dissident has dared to come out of the closet and is greeted with relieved signs from the secret resistance and the respect for a person daring to risk imprisonment.

I only know this, I am a DEDICATED TRUMP VOTER, almost to the point of being the pig at breakfast. I now intend to cast my vote as soon as possible IN PERSON. Here in Pinellas County, FL, this means 19 October is my mark on the calendar, one week from today! I will crawl through broken glass to do this even though my senior residence is still on quarantine.

I do have my mail-in ballot, un-opened, that I will take with me to be cancelled. My sincere hope is to eject that turncoat Charlie Crist in favor of Anna Paulina Luna and reelect President Trump, at the very least for his Judicial picks. On the Florida Amendments I am voting ‘YES’ on #s 1, 4 & 6, and ‘NO’ on the rest.

Join me, my fellow FReepers, in your own way and at your own voting places! WE CAN DO THIS, WE MUST DO THIS and PRAY THAT WE WILL DO THIS!
