Each California county is in a certain phase with regard to COVID. It used to be that if new cases and new deaths got below certain levels then a county could move to a more open phase. However, they recently changed the criteria so that the new cases and new deaths had to be proportional based on race. Nope, Gavin Newsom shuts down beaches and other outside areas statewide and wants people even eating at outside restaurants to slip their masks up and down with each bite.
If Newsom is going to be this way with the LA event and with protesters (many seen not wearing masks or social dustancing yet not dispersed) then I guess everybody gets to do whatever they want because he can’t arrest everybody?

Let’s put this in perspective. Here in Illinois during lockdown pins were removed from golf courses, families couldn’t boat together and no more than fifty people can go to church. The list goes on and on.
