A person reported to be a supporter of the Patriot Muster militia has been shot and killed at a protest in Denver, allegedly by a counterprotester with the BLM-Antifa rally.
The militia supporter maced a counterprotester, who then pulled out his handgun and shot dead the militia supporter, the Denver Post reported.
Rival rallies had been called for Saturday afternoon by the two opposing groups.

I worked part time at a local news channel about 18 years ago. Most of those guys made nothing. Some were 4 year media arts grads.
As for me, my main job in public TV land paid better. I only took a year long TV production training program.

The area where this occurred is a short distance (less than a half mile) from the State Capitol Bldg. This area has been the epicenter of demonstrations in Denver for several weeks. Drove thru the area a couple of weeks ago … everything is boarded up.
BLM/Antifa and their enablers OWN the streets.
anyone else trying to hold a protest will not be allowed. they will be harassed/attacked or even killed.

Looks to me like these two employees were out to “make news” for the station.
When I first watched the video, I heard the gunshot and saw a large orange plume simultaneously. My first thought was “What kind of gun does that????”
Seeing a still shot of the moment a little later, I realized the plume was the bear spray. The victim had obviously sprayed the thug when the gun was pulled on him.
Self defense that, sadly, didn’t work.

They’re now claiming that the shooter was a private security guard. Right.
All the reports of this and similar confrontations say “right wing extremists” but NEVER say Left wing extremists.
Dems and BLM are apparently simply Henry David Thoreau style advocates of MLK’s gentle nonviolence. Oh yeah?
Someone shot and dying from being critically wounded in an Antifa ambush can say “I am dying from gunshots at the hands of nonviolent, non extremist supporters of BLM. At least I have that.”/s
He used what he had to defend himself. It probably prevented the guy from getting off a second shot, but unfortunately that wasn’t enough.
